Linda's Message

The rest of the story...

In our last newsletter, I shared a conversation that I'd had with the Abraham group. I always feel that Abraham's message is of most importance but as promised the rest of the conversation will be shared in detail following Abraham's message.

Abraham's Message

Greetings to everyone,

Life is fragile and unpredictable. Your life plan was created prior to your birth, including all of the life opportunities necessary for fulfillment of your purpose. The human consciousness is not allowed to have awareness of its' arranged time of death, or exit plan for a particular life experience. You are meant to live in the moment, having full awareness of the experience; the lessons to learn from and to make decisions responding to the current experience. But sometimes life is overwhelming for you and survival becomes a distraction. With repeated distractions you forget that there is a purpose and lose focus as to what is important to you. This is understandable and this is why we are trying to remind you that there is more to life than survival. You are powerful in creating your future and the impact this lifetime will have for you and for others is significant. The lessons learned in each lifetime are of great importance to your soul's journey. The energy of Karma is created within each moment of your life. Karma allows the opportunity of experiencing a situation repeatedly, with the possibility of rectifying the energy of the situation.

Many of you have recently experienced an emotional response to the death of a well-known and obviously respected performer. There was an enormous energetic ripple of sadness and grief felt by many at the news of his death. The actor, Robin Williams by all appearances lived life to the fullest. We appreciate the timely demonstration of life as we are attempting to provide you with a greater understanding of the importance of life and awareness of how important your use of time is.

From the depth of addiction, to personal losses, to the highs and lows of his life, Mr. Williams was human just like you. Strength, weakness, laughter and sadness, what a perfect example to learn from.

This man discovered his purpose early on in life and he fulfilled that purpose. He was able to influence an immeasurable number of people because of his unique ability to make you laugh and cry and feel. Many of you connected with him emotionally as if he was a close friend. No matter what his human challenges were he overcame them long enough to influence your life in a very powerful and positive way. As spiritual beings and teachers, we realize what an amazing teacher he was, especially when we observed your responses. We saw how his various performances invoked emotions of laughter and joy, sadness and grief providing you with an understanding of life. You identified with the characters he played and you all seem to have your favorites. He provided you with various perspectives of life and through his characters, gave you permission to experience your own life. Without realizing his importance, he stirred life emotions that often get locked away and ignored. He was a life teacher for you and for many others.

As an example of life, Mr. Williams experienced many different challenges that others can learn from. It appears that he determined early on that he could use laughter to make himself and others feel better. It is hard to understand the physical, emotional or mental struggles that others endure or how they choose to deal with them. His life struggle was a perfect example for our use in teaching about mental illness. Mental illnesses such as depression are not new to human beings, but a struggle that many endure. It may be hidden well but it is just as painful and exhausting as physical pain and unfortunately for some terminal. If you or someone in your family have experienced the trauma of this challenge you understand, for others it is difficult because it is not visibly crippling.

Hopefully with examples like the beloved Mr. Williams ordeal, this illness will be further explored, better understood and treatments developed.

It may not be possible for you to fully understand the life that this man lived. Just as you have been, he was given a life of challenges to experience. Hopefully he did the best he could each day in making decisions to face his challenges. That is all that God asks of you. Experience life, it does not require a state of perfection, as each person's life experiences are different. Even through his pain he attempted to survive and be the best person he could be each day. He loved people and made that obvious through his generosity and actions. Most people were unaware of his pain. He suffered in silence, as that is frequently a pattern for all those involved with the illness of depression.

His life decisions, like yours, were his responsibility. As your awareness expands you will discover that there are no right and wrong decisions, just consequences to each of your choices. His spirit is now at peace, but his life lessons go on, as you've become his student. Judgment of his life or his choices is not justified, as it was his life not yours. Sadly you will now suffer the loss of someone that worked so hard at bringing joy to others. His films are left behind as a continuing example of finding joy in the darkness of the life's challenges. A perfect example of how one man's purpose can influence and change the lives of millions. In life Mr. Williams may not have fully comprehended his influence on the world. But from the world he now occupies he is able to embrace your love and have appreciation of how he influenced so many lives. His light now shines for those in both worlds.

Every one of you chose a life of purpose. How have you chosen to take responsibility for the challenges of your life?

  • Are you the person you want to be?
  • What is your purpose?
  • How can God use you to influence the lives of others?
  • What would you like to change about your life?
  • What or who is preventing the change?
  • You become what you focus on.
  • Life is primarily about your perspective. Do you need a attitude adjustment?

Within you God sees the hope of love. How did you demonstrate this love in your life today?

Over the next few months we hope to continue to help you embrace life in a different way, a life of joy and empowerment. We hope you will stay with us on this journey.

Abraham's message has changed the way I live my life and I think it might be very beneficial to your life as well.

Abraham had given me the message "Live your life as if you were dying." Naturally the message shook me up but when examining the way I was living my life I discovered that I was making life choices based on the premise that there would always be a tomorrow. I was procrastinating in fulfilling important goals, dreams and taking significant life changing actions. I had to admit that even my everyday life had gotten out of balance. A self inflected problem as my husband reminds me.

Abraham felt that they needed to get my attention, as immediate changes were necessary. As I have said before I love my work and I admit my healing/message work is an addiction for me, to the point that I often lose balance. I think many of you may be able to identify. I forget that I have to live a fulfilled life of many purposes along with doing God's work. I am human with relationships to maintain and enjoy but I was not living with appreciation of the moment.

I felt that Abraham's message was enough to get my attention but evidently there was a continuation of the lesson, as shortly after presenting their message to me my husband suffered a heart attack. This was his second heart attack in 10 years. Now it may help to understand that he is in pretty good health and it occurred 20 miles into his 22 mile training run for a marathon. That run in itself would have killed many of us, but for him he had been training for it and running was part of his daily routine. Yes, I did a lot of prayers and negotiating with God to get both of us through the experience and thankfully he lived through it and is healthy again.

Throughout the experience Abraham's words kept ringing loudly in my ears. My husband is my life. He is my love, my support system and my balance (at least when I listen to him). God created him specifically for me, as God knew I would have supernatural needs (that means more bizarre than most) and I would need a "Superman" to support those needs and love me despite my unusual nature or weirdness. I just love weird it just makes life so much fun.

When Abraham first made their ominous statement I starting looking at my life, questioning as to whether I had fulfilled my life purpose? Had I lived and experienced all that I desired for this life? Was I living my daily life to it's full potential? Was I finished and ready to leave this life experience behind? I selfishly thought well...maybe I was ready. I do have awareness of how wonderful things are on the other side and I was willing to forgo future major lessons, as they typically create major challenges and pain. But when looking closer at my life I decided... Hell No!! Pardon my language, it was an emotional moment for me. I was not ready to have closure with my life, my relationships or the amazing opportunities that I am given each day. As challenging as life has been and still is some days I wasn't finished. I wanted to see what was coming next. And then after the scare of my husband's experience I realized that I wanted even more from life. Abraham kept stressing for me to live in the moment. I realize that my husband and I will not always be together and we could be and should be living a more balanced life together.

My husband and I sat down and talked about what we wanted from life and how we could and would start creating the life we desired. We again started working with our vision board in setting the intention for what we wanted to manifest for our life. (see our previous newsletters for manifestation instructions) We looked with gratitude at our life, as well as the needs we were neglecting and decided to create a bucket list of goals. In so many areas of life I am completely fulfilled, but what if God has more in store for me.

Thanks to God and you I am blessed in having an abundance of work, but I had lost my balance in the category of joy, relaxation and sharing of time with the important people in my life. I think like me, many people fall into a pattern of imbalance in striving to be responsible in other areas of their life.

After such an intense lesson I am pleased to say that I am now consciously living each day to the fullest and with gratitude. Our time together is more focused and we are communicating with awareness of how precious each moment is. I am trying to apply this same awareness to all of my relationships and it has changed how I live my life.

I hope you do not have to suffer a loss in your life to remind you of the importance of living each day to the fullest and valuing your relationships. I am very grateful for Abraham's message and the opportunity to live my life to the fullest every moment of every day.

My bucket list of fun adventures that we've accomplished for the year have included a trip to Disney World (for my inner child of course) and a trip to Hawaii for R&R with a balance of work. While my husband's bucket list of travel included a trip to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse monument and Yellowstone National Park. We have successfully checked those off for this year with so much more to come.

While your life may not require as much travel there is no reason you can't be creating a life of joy and fun adventures. Life is short live it to the fullest. It is never too late to realize what is important to your life and fight for it. If you don't make the changes it won't happen.

Linda

Upcoming Events

I am so EXCITED! Abraham just presented me with a new class - "The Concept of Love" - This class focuses on what we need to learn about love. We have taught classes on relationship healing many times before, but never with this focus and intensity. Abraham says we deserve healthy relationships of love, yet we keep sabotaging our opportunities. Our first class will start in Austin in October and I can't wait to see how things will progress.

There is talk about us presenting this class and others through weekly sessions with on-line groups, but I do not have details yet. Remember, I may be able to talk to spirits, masters and guides but I am challenged by computer stuff. We all have our gifts, that is just not mine.

Who is Abraham:

Every month I have new readers join our newsletter list. I was reminded that not everyone is familiar with the Abraham Group that I work with. I apologize for neglecting to share this important information with you.

Abraham is a group consciousness of high vibrational spiritual beings. That is a long title for a group of beings that work for God. Their purpose is to bring humanity the wisdom and guidance of God for the advancement of our soul's journey. They do not function with ego but much of their work is done though human channels. They have chosen multiple people to work through in delivering their messages. Although Abraham works with many channels, their most well known channel is Esther Hicks. She has been channeling their messages and writing books with them for over 30 years.

Their messages can be both individual or global depending on the situation. Each channel gives the same message yet often in a slightly different way due to our personality. You each receive knowledge differently, and often need to hear it multiple time before applying to to your life. The Abraham group focus on positive intent and empowerment for our lives.

Spirit presented this group to me as my teachers about 11 years ago when my awareness of my spiritual journey began. During this time, they have continually assisted me with my own spiritual development, as well as our work in helping others heal their lives. They have channeled their guidance through the books we have written and the workshops we teach.

They bring us hope and knowledge of the soul's journey through life, into death and the world beyond. You can go to my website www.Lindadrakebooks.com to read more about my journey with Abraham and Spirit.

We all need spiritual support. Whether that support comes through personal interaction with like-minded groups and classes or the stimulation of your mind and heart through the knowledge shared in spiritually based books, it is important to continually nurture your spiritual self.

The spirit within you craves acknowledgment and care taking of it's needs for the advancement of your soul's journey. An expanded spiritual experience holds you in the light and love of God, enabling you to give and receive love of both self and others beyond any current limitations.

Share our newsletter with your friends. It is easy - just have them register today through Linda's website or hit "forward" at the bottom of this page and you can send it to them.
